The training season couldn’t have started in a better way for Cambrils Park Sport Village. Having started January with the U17 women’s national teams from England, France and Germany; and Bahrain Merida Pro Cycling Team, now is the time for women’s cycling.
In particular, the team that is currently enjoying the facilities of the Sports Resort, altogether with the weather and the good roads of the Costa Daurada, is the FDJ Nouvelle Aquitaine Futuroscope, a French women’s cycling team that competes in UCI Women’s category, which is the major women’s road bicycle category worldwide. The Swedish cyclist champion, Emilia Fahlin, who is a team member, has also participated in the trainings. The team arrived last 21st of January and will stay until de 31st of January.
Another cycling team that will visit Cambrils Park Sport Village during February, also from the UCI Women’s Team category, is Trek-Drops. The British team will do their trainings from the 11th of February until the 20th. Almost two weeks where they will be able to ride along the area’s different routes and enjoy the Resort.
